Teaching As Dharma with Daniel Stewart
June 22 @ 6:00 pm - June 24 @ 5:30 pm
As Yoga teachers, we can expand our teaching beyond the presentation of asana by integrating the many layers of the 4000 year old science of the mind that is YOGA. We can make the ancient teaching relevant, transformational, and healing to modern day yogis searching for refuge in a confusing world. We can align our teaching with this ancient practice of living the truth as our dharma and empower our students to do the same.
In this 3 day workshop, we will explore YOGA as a path to consciousness. We will study the basics of Yoga Psychology/Philosophy, and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, as a tool for liberation and transformation, and we will explore ways to weave the material into our practice and our teaching. By staying curious and open to our own process we will use the practice of self inquiry at the heart of Yoga to ground and invigorate our teaching with soulfulness, meaning, and purpose. We will explore the questions: Who is teaching? What are we teaching? Why are we teaching? What MUST be taught to heal the world?
Come explore these topics and more with Daniel in this playful, deep dive, designed for YOGA TEACHERS.
- Teaching from our individual, authentic voice.
