Seeking Sattva: A Self Care Workshop with Barbara Chadderton

Sattva means balance (i.e. the sweet spot) in your life physically, mentally and spiritually.
Join Barbara for an afternoon of self care including self massage, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation. All of these tools can be taken home with you to empower you to take action to help yourself when your mind and/or your body aches.There is no substitiute for regular massage therapy but in this workshop you will learn ways to help your body feel better and more comfortable in between sessions.Do you know your body and yourself so well that you instantly know the difference between a “good hurt” and a “bad hurt” and what you can do about it? We will unpack these concepts so you can feel confident as you explore self care in your life.

You’ll also get a chance to meet Kristen Lum, LAc, MSOM, Dipl. OM, our resident acupuncturist and herbalist who will give you some insight into healing with these ancient modalities.
