RESTORATIVE INVERSIONS: HEADSTAND & SHOULDERSTAND
Explore the alignment principles and the benefits of practicing each inversion using restorative methods & postures with props.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn how to prepare for and practice these two challenging inversions in a supported way
- Build confidence and develop mindfulness and concentration to perhaps one day practice each inversion in the unsupported, traditional way (without props)
- Get more comfortable by playing the idea of going upside. It’s all about mindfulness!
This workshop will illustrate how many ways one can choose to practice headstand and shoulderstand no matter what stage in practice. This workshop will include meditation at the end.
Open to all levels.
Alexis is a yoga teacher, artist, and writer. She is passionate about self-care activities and living a healthy, happy life. She teaches yoga because it allows her to connect with others in a meaningful way. Yoga has taught her to look for quiet moments of reflection and build a strong foundation for a life of joy. She has a simple approach to teaching yoga and enjoys working with beginners.
